inverted3reality said: incorrect. PC is a gaming platform separate from the xbox 360. Just because the xbox360 borrows tech from the pc does not make it so.
Microsoft does not sell the operating system for gaming, they sell it for operating. You are incorrect and your logic is flawed. Just because the PC doesn't have first party developers means jack shit all.
Any game, that appears on the PC, is not an exclusive. it can be obtained outside the console and played outside the console.
end of story. |
There is 100% overlap between the consoles and the PC market? Would the fact that a game is also on the PC ALWAYS result in someone not buying a console, and buying a PC instead?
So, NO it isn't the "end of story". Unless you can show that the PC market is a 100% overlap with consoles, it isn't so. A game can be exclusive to a give console, while also being on the PC, and this have an impact on console sales. If this isn't so, then Gran Turismo is NOT a console exclusive, nor are about every single Sony game, because you can now get Gran Turismo on the PSP.
