Forums - Sony - Eurogamer reviews EyePet - 6/10

Whats with the Eurogamer hate guys ? They gave Uncharted 2 10 a few weeks ago and everybody loved them and now you hate them ! They are harsh in their reviews at times ! ( they hand out more 3s and 4s than most sites, except edge)
Eyepet is the kind of game you should buy if you are interested - nevermind about the reviews...

This will be lower than most scores, so EyePet is a good game confirmed?

Or it could be an average one. By reading the review, this is what I gathered:

- Sluggish loading times
- Vague directions/explanations for challenges. The reviewer had a difficult time beating challenges because of the lack of explanation. The game didn't tell him what he was doing wrong or how he needed to do it. If he's having problems with the challenges, imagine how a 7 year old will struggle with the game.
- Game gets repetitive after a while.
- There aren't many tricks your eyepet can learn, so "you're mostly doing stuff for the sake of doing stuff."
- Doing the tricks or playing the game is impressive in the first few days, but it's questionable after that. The game does look like it'll lose its charm pretty fast.
- Disappointing online functuality. No social interaction and not being able to send pictures or videos while in the game (other games can).

Score well justified.

Its never justified....even if its a ps3 exclusive door simulator ,6/10 is far to low of a score.

(This is going on all day)

N64 is the ONLY console of the fifth generation!!!

Watch it Jesus, or the mob will be after you again.

Speak for yourself. When you say everyone you include me... Which would be wrong in this case.

Eurogamer gave Folklore 5/10, Resistance 6/10, Kingdom Hearts 8/10, Kingdom Hearts 2 8/10.

Those are some examples of scores that are definitely not compatible with me.

Eurogamer is not biased at all but they give reviews that are not having the same stantards as pretty much all other reviewers which makes them unreliable. I couldn't care less if they would have gave Uncharted 2 an 8 or lower.

You've played it?

Eurogamer has and gave their reasons for the score. They justified their opinion very well. I don't know why you're asking me that.

Yea mirson HAVE YOU??!?

People that played and reviewed the game are the only people that can justify their score....oohh wait...thats what eurogamer EXACTLY did.

You're kind of getting a little annoying jesus kung fu magic. We all went through something like that here and we didn't made 3 threads about it.

Funny you have forgottwn 9s for Uncharted , Resistance, LBP and Killzone 2. So what ? they dont like most JRPGs anyway. Resistance probably deserves 8 though. And anything less than 12 for MGS4 is a crime. As i said before.... if you're intersted - buy eyepet regardless of the reviews (its that kind of game)
