The single player is way too much fun to worry about playing multiplayer at this point. This really isn't the type of game you will spend a lot of time on multiplayer.

This is because a lot of the gameplay elements of this game are kind of meh...driving, fighting, sandbox are not that great to be honest...but the way it all comes together in single player story is what makes it so awesome.

It really doesn't matter which system you have this game for, as you will most likely have a really fun 10 hours and then trade it.

I played the demo and if the game is close to that then I would enjoy it. I will probably pick this up when the price drops or I get a rewards zone coupon.

I second that.

I believe I heard something along the lines of it takes 4 - 6 hours to beat this game? That's complete horse shit and the RTS gameplay is pretty damn fun and it's intuitive despite being a console RTS and its WAY different than most RTS games.

Really a unique and funny game with excellent writing so far, I believe I'm nearing the end (though I only have about half the solos) and probably at the 8 hour mark already, not the longest game but I've got a ton of unlockables to go after as well.

I just beat the game and here are my impressions on the whole thing. It took me 10 hours to beat it and change (whithout beating half the side missions).

Pros:

+ Funny dialogue and memorable characters made this a treat to play through.

+ Great music for metal fans (including me).

+ Story was straightforward and to the point which I liked.

+ Beautiful world, really felt like a legitimate other world which most video games fail to create.

+ Some of the music selection for specific battles and scenes was amazingly done, especially the Mr. Crowley bit, literally some of the best scenes I've seen in a game, better than movies at times.\

+ Art design was great for characters, units, villains and the monuments throughout the world.

Cons:

- The low point of the game was the Lionwhyte fight for me.

- RTS elements can get tedious when they get complicated (which they rarely do).

- Not enough side mission variety and they get boring sometimes, but now that I've beaten the main story I'm going to go back and complete those.

- If there is no sequel to this I'll be very disappointed, hopefully it sells well enough that we get one.

The final thing I have to say is that the game almost got boring towards the middle, but the introduction of the Drowning Doom really reinvigorated the game. Bottom line is this is one of the most memorable games I've ever played and I'm sure I'll be coming back years later to play through it again.

How do you spoiler tag stuff?

When you want to spoiler tag stuff warn that your post includes spoilers and just type what you want to say then highlight the spoiler and click "background color" on the rich text reply and make the color white.  White on white makes a white square you have to highlight to see.

Not the literal background color in the rich text just hit the arrow on the ab symbol at the top right corner, select white, highlight your text you was to cover up, and hit the ab symbol it'll highlight it white. (much like I did to your "reason" :P)

Sorry, got it, spoilers ahead.

The part where Ophelia confronts Eddy and shows him what happened to her after they abandoned her by playing Mr. Crowley was great, but then when the words Mr and Crowley came out of Ozzy's mouth the second she hit hte pool of black tears that might be my greatest moment in a game since when I saw Mario 64 for the first time when I was eleven (I'm 24 now). What a perfect place to use that song and that part was so well done it blew me away.

Amazing game, I feel like right after seeing a great movie when I wish that I could forget it all and see it again with new eyes.
