It looks good, but not much more so than the previous R&C games. I'm not obsessed with graphics, but I was expecting a bit more from the PS3. Maybe that area simply wasn't the best example of the PS3's might though.

Core gameplay looks the same which is both good and bad, though mostly good.

The camera still gets stupid in certain spots (unless that was the player).

Looks like a good game (as R&C tends to be), but not nearly strong enough to sell me personally on the PS3.

The player doesn't seem to understand what strafing is. If you're not impressed by the graphics, you're nuts. Go back and actually look at the older Ratchet and Clank games.

Yeah, this game is absolutely stunning the visual department, my jaw dropped when the game play started! I also have never played any of the other R&C games despite owning a PS2, but this one has me Coo-Coo for Clank!!!

Currently Playing:

PS4 - Killzone:SF and Assasins Creed 4

XBox One: BF4, CoD:Ghosts, Dead Rising 3, Forza 5

Changing channels with my voice: priceless!!!

WHY ME! One of the sequels to the best game on the planet and I can't even play it, I really need to get myself a PS3.

W29...which Ratchet and Clank games have you played?

Sorry for the late response....I have played Ratchet and Clank, Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando, Ratchet and Clank: Up your Arsenal, and Ratchet and Clank: Deadlocked....I really liked Deadlocked because of its multiplayer aspect. That game had me glued to my PS2.

I'm about to get Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters for the PSP soon.

WHY ME! TOOO!!!! I NEED ONE TOOOO!!!!

Tools of Destruction is really an awesome game. I played through the demo and was really wowed.

I hate to quote 1UP, but it really feels like you're in a Pixar movie. Just the level of detail in the animations is enough to buy the game. They got really creative with the weapons =)

I understand the graphics. Like Halo 3, the art direction has been largely untouched, just more detailed, so the differences are not obvious until you look at the 6th gen games again.

Yet you shouldn't have expected a lot from the graphics anyway, as Insomniac stay low key with their graphics to ensure performance (even Resistance has lower textures than typical of contemporary FPS).

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

I must be illusional , but it "looks" only slightly better than super mario galaxy in my opinion. And that slightly that I put in was just so fanboys don't lash at me. I keep on looking at this and super mario galaxy and can't see much difference. I am sure that this will look much better in a 40 inch tv though. I think this also runs at 60 while smg runs at 30
