Forums - Sony - Must-buy PSP games?

So I'm buying a PSP next month, along with Jeanne d'Arc. What else should I get? I'm looking for GREAT games of any genre, and good bang for my buck.

I only have a few, but these are mine:

LocoRoco
Pirates
Lumines

and I just got Final Fantasy Tactics, I never played the original, but so far I love this game. I plan on picking up Jeanne D'arc when I'm done with it.

at least until castlevania comes out next week, which is going to be great, unless konami somehow botches the ports and remake but that'd just be nutty

Thanks for the recommendations, guys.

Castlevania comes out next week? Wow, I'm so getting this.

Mega Man Powered Up = must buy if you like great platforming. It's the first Mega Man game reimagined with a bunch of extra stuff. it's by far my favorite PSP game.

Either Syphon Filter- great shooters with surprisingly good controls

Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth is a great non traditional JRPG remake of the original PS1 game

Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops- it's Metal Gear; 'nuff said.

Puzzle Quest- incredibly addicting RPG version of Bejeweled. Sounds corny, but it's oh so fun. No way I'd play Bejeweled otherwise.

Wipeout has a ton of great arcade racing action

My Top 5:

Shadow of the Colossus, Metal Gear Solid 3, Shenmue, Skies of Arcadia, Chrono Trigger

My 2 nex-gen systems: PS3 and Wii

Prediction Aug '08: We see the PSP2 released fall '09. Graphically, it's basically the same as the current system. UMD drive ditched and replaced by 4-8gb on board flash memory. Other upgrades: 2nd analog nub, touchscreen, blutooth, motion sensor. Design: Flip-style or slider. Size: Think Iphone. Cost: $199. Will be profitable on day 1.

Hot Shots Golf is good. Crush is good. I like Monster Hunter. Jeanne D'Arc is great RPG.
