Next Xbox360 title game for me to purchase will be Mass Effect!  And it might have gone gold already.

MGS is very pleased to announce that Mass Effect has passed certification and has been released to manufacturing.

While it took a bit longer than we originally anticipated to complete this epic title, we are all very proud of the game and early reviews (9.75 from Game Informer, 95 from Consol.at, and Game of the Month from GamePro) show that others share our enthusiasm.

BTW, Best Buy is offering free "Heroes" DVD along with other titles.  Never saw Heroes.  Is "Heroes"  that good? or are they just trying to get rid of it?

And no, Heroes is not good. I made my mate tell me what happened in the end to save me watching any more episodes.

If its gone gold then it is arguably going to arrive early. Its a big game expected to do big numbers so it will need longer to print and release than other games. Still, it should not need a Halo 3 amount of time

When a game has "gone gold" it basically means that the code has been finalized and is ready to be duplicated for distribution.*  Obviously Mass Effect has gone gold so at least we know that it won't be delayed until after Christmas :)
