It's sad to say. But I'd rather play a Video game. Sports is just a good way to injure yourself. If I want exercise i'll hit the gym.

Depends what sport.. for example I'd rather play footy or soccer or cricket for real but I'd rather play golf or something that involves expensive equipment etc in a video game..

Ofc I'd rather play it in real life! But i can play some NHL when I'm bored .

I'm talken mainly the big 3. Football, Baseball, Basketball.

Real life

Even though FIFA 10 is amazing, real football is so much more exciting and enjoyable, my 7 aside match on Friday, despite a loss, was much more exciting than anything on FIFA. Yeah, games are enjoyable, but actually getting a 50 in real life, in cricket, would just be so much better than any game.

So real life, but quite a long way even though I really do like my sports games

I like both...
I enjoyed real life sports like Soccer, Basketball, Softball, Badminton. American Football if that's what you mean, & Baseball aren't really popular/top sports in my country. Many people not know how to play those sports, specially American Football...
I enjoyed sports videogame too, bcause there's some sports that I can't play in real life I want to experience it.

Sorry for the bad English. My bad... :)

Do you mean real Football or American football?

Baseball is like golf, it isn't a real sport, maybe replace that with hockey or rugby.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Anyway, I love playing football in real life, but I like PES and FIFA as well.

I enjoy kickboxing more in real life because they don't have a good game of it (they need a new K-1 game to get out over here fast)

Hockey I am fond of both, when playing real hockey there is just no substitute for the emotion felt during play, and all the people involved; yet hockey games in the videogame world are TONS of fun as well.

I will always prefer the real deal if I can. As immersive as games are getting nowadays it will never convey the real thing. I'd miss the smells mostly. The smell of the ring when I'm boxing, the smell of grass when playing football or rugby. And I'd miss the sense of accomplishment. As rewarding as winning 2-1 against Brasil in Fifa can be, it will be much more rewarding if you did it with your own body, physical prowess etc.

I'd rather fight a match against another amateur and lose in real life, then fighting Mike Tyson in punch out and win.
