Ever since I did the Home update and I try to launch it, my PS3 freezes. Anyone else having this problem? My brother also has the same problem

delete and reinstall

SAME problem ... ever since the update my PS3 crashes ... so i stopped playing it :(

if it's 1.3 yea, if its freezing at the startup, find out which area its crashing on. then go to game data-playstation home.  Hit triangle on the different data's to find out the location for each data. Find the one it crashes on and delete the data. Then reboot home it should work fine, the problem is certain items in your apartment don't save properly, so make sure you don't exit home while in an apartment that has some of the items. These are what they think the items are:

-   Namco Bandai Love Seat

-   Loot Feature Film  Camera on Heavy Duty Tripod

-   Post-Apocalyptic Orange Machine

-   Post-Apocalyptic Grey Machine

-   Post-Apocalyptic Yellow Machine

-   Post-Apocalyptic Red Machine

-   Saucer Pop Yellow Chair

-   Saucer Pop Blue Chair

-   Saucer Pop Green Chair

-   Saucer Pop Red Chair

-   Fat Princess Throne

-   Ghostbusters Bagel

-   Ghostbusters Toast

-   Club Fight Night Half Chaise Lounge

-   Club Fight Night Chaise Lounge

-   Club Fight Night Couch

I'd suggest you try this before you reinstall, unless your internet is really fast, cause it can be a pain to redownload all the areas again.  And it doesn't delete your apartment setup, that stuff is stored server side i believe.
