Forums - Microsoft - Bioware fixing texture pop-in, A.I. and frame-rate issues for Mass Effect 2

Bah, more like "Meh Effect"

It was an OK game with a lot of flaws that I ultimately  found a bit boring with a confusing silly plot. Much like their previous game Jade Empire which was also vastly over rated. I'm sure it'll be worth playing, and I'll eventually pick it up cheap and used. But this series was certainly no master piece like KOTOR was.

Confusing Plot???

The plot was crystal clear.

A galactic union, a bad guy that tries to bring back the ancient ultimate evil, and the good guy that saves the galaxy. What exactly confuses you in this???

You have something else in your mind dude. Try not to express your opinion about something you haven't even tried.

ME 2 is gonna take our brains, smash them together, and kick them into the sun.

This is great news!!

I'm playing ME right now and even with it installed in the hard drive it still didn't improve the tech issues, still an amazing game regardless but they better fix the problems...

The first one is one of my favorite games, hopefully the second one has better side missions and planets though.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

The plot was better than most other games which isn't saying much but it's something. Also I agree with you that Jade Empire was overrated so were the KOTOR games, as far as I'm concerned Mass Effect is the best game Bioware has ever created (unitl ME 2).

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

Great news to hear! I have high hopes for ME2, and the technical issues in the 1st were the only realy problem.

I dont remember eny issues when i was playing Mass Effect 1 on me pc

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

I don't think any of Bioware's 3D engines have been particularly advanced, but they've always exceled at amazing RPG gameplay, hence the amazingness of ME1.

Now they've fixed the tech issues they had before this is gonna be epic!

Yay this game is gonna rock! It can easily be the greatest WRPG this gen

Long Live SHIO!
