U think it's a coincidence that they all are giving Halo 3 8.x scores while everyone else are giving +9.5?

we simply didn't love the game... just because you gave it a 10 and think it's the greatest thing ever that doesn't make it so... Also Can I call you an microsoft fan for giving it a 10 without saying why? Your vote shouldn't count because you obviously only care about it beating every  other game that has been voted on.

9.25- The multiplayer is second to none, but the single player was pretty boring, and the ending was lame.

er, lowest score in the thread so far is an 8.0, how is that "ranking down"?

you said "stop ranking down 360 exclusives", I see NO evidence of that kind of fanboy troll voting in this thread, if people are giving 6's alot and have Sony ftw sigs, then you would have a point, giving a game an 8 isn't ranking down, its a perfectley understandable score to give a good game, but perhaps a game that you dont consider one of the best, if anyone can be called a fanboy, surely its the users with 360 sigs giving them game a 10/10 with little reasoning, or are you okay with that?

Yes Im okay with 10/10 cos Sony fans are doing it with their games.

I guess you are unable to detect phenomenons like "stealth trolling", and "downplaying the competition".

Subtract all the Sony fans/Sony bias from this thread and Halo 3 would (currently) beat MGS4, so far winning the whole VGC ranking game. This is very important lol.

I still dont see how giving a game an 8/10 is trolling or fanboyism or downplaying commpetition

people giving 5's or 6's, sure, but 8's?

8 is a good score for any game, I really cant fathom how one can consider an 8 a bad score

Come on.......... it's Halo, it will always be downplayed by fans of "rival" consoles, though 1 or 2 of the 8 scores may be legit here, i too have suspicions about some of them.

Especially when i read stuff like....... "i only played the campaign"

Basically........ 8 is a safe score to give it (so your bias isn't too obvious) and to assure it doesn't rank as high as other peoples fave games on other platforms.

Maybe the reason that they own a Ps3 instead of a 360 indicates that they don't like the 360 exclusives that much. I've got a 360, but I sold my Halo 3 copy since I disliked it. Most of my play time goes to the Ps3, because I buy all the multiplats for it and way more exclusives. When I don't like a game, I rate it likewise. It's called a OPINION. When I don't like a game, I should be able to give it a lower then average score. And since when is a 8 a bad score?

Err. I'm not sure if I am qualified to rate this game, because I didn't not play any multiplayer including the campaign.

But for the campaign alone I give it an 8/10.
+ Great Graphics
+ Very Enjoyable FPS
+ Very Epic in Feel
+ Great level design.

- Some Parts feel like they were not designed to be played alone.
- Some vehicles are very difficult to drive.
- The story wasn't satisfying.
