They showed 7 mini-games whereas Wii Sports has 20 and lets you use personalized Mii characters. The graphics look just above Wii Sports level. If Wii Sports was a tech demo, so is this. I'll rent it before I pass further judgment but the game seems to be pretty weak and designed to appeal to elementary schoolers.

Wait since when does Wii Sports have 20 mini-games?

Last time I played there were 5.

He's talking about the training exercises. Have you played Power Throws in the Bowling Set? It goes up to 4 players and is a lot of fun.

Wii Sports has a lot of game modes to it. 5 basic sports with training exercises that can be played as a game unto themselves.

Yes.  I think of the actual sports as tech demos where as they training games are usually better as mini games for parties.  This is especially true of the baseball and golf mini games as the tech demos take awhile to play.  If Wii Sports had 15 less games, I don't think the Wii would have sold as well.

currently playing: Desktop Tower Defense (PC), Puzzle Quest (DS), Trauma Center New Blood (Wii), Guitar Hero III (Wii), Ghost Squad (Wii), Actraiser (SNES), Donkey Kong County (SNES), The Legend of Zelda (NES), Kirby's Adventure (NES)

will play next: Paper Mario (N64), Golden Axe II (Sega), NiGHTS (Wii)

In Portugal we call this foot-tennis... or something. Footvolley is the same without the goals and a volley net. And yeah, I have played both. We've been known to play (and distort) just about every sport with a football.

I absolutelly loved the little cars game. What do you call those? Problem with minigames collections is I'd rather pay 500 points for the one or two I love.

Reality has a Nintendo bias.

Really not interested.
