He's talking about the training exercises. Have you played Power Throws in the Bowling Set? It goes up to 4 players and is a lot of fun.
Wii Sports has a lot of game modes to it. 5 basic sports with training exercises that can be played as a game unto themselves.

In Portugal we call this foot-tennis... or something. Footvolley is the same without the goals and a volley net. And yeah, I have played both. We've been known to play (and distort) just about every sport with a football.
I absolutelly loved the little cars game. What do you call those? Problem with minigames collections is I'd rather pay 500 points for the one or two I love.
