Forums - Nintendo - *Lol @ Little Kings Story*

I heard that LKS was a good game and that it was kind of the new pikmin! Pikmin 2 is my favorite game ever made and so I wanted to see if it was any good. I was hopeing the price would have gone down by now for a game with such low sales. When I went to gamestop it was still $50!!

So I looked on youtube to see if it was worth it and...

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was just like pikmin but about 20x worse!

I will admit it did have some Pikmin like elements but it didn't make any sense! The people make sounds like the pikmin do LOL!!!

I just find it funny how LKS copies Pikmin but adds

worse characters

a Worse storyline

Worse graphics

and makes the humans sound like pikmin.

With that said...

LKS seems like a game that I would get if it wasn't so expensive and I look forward to buying it in the future. I just find it VERY VERY funny how it is like a WAY downgraded version of Pikmin.

I loved Pikmin and Pikmin 2, but you are so wrong. Little King Story is a hell of a lot more than a Pikmin clone.

"So I looked on youtube to see if it was worth it and..."

Yea that's where I stopped and the OP should have stopped. Basing the merit of a video game on youtube videos is laughable. If you want to figure if a game is "worth it" then you might want to try at least a gaming media site for videos, previews, and of course reviews. If that's not enough... rent it first. Otherwise your argument is illogical because the premises don't justify the conclusion.

I was typing a response trying to explain is appeal, what is so great about it and why it isn't just a Pikmin clone. Halfway true I understood it would serve no point against somebody like you. I just can't believe how people like you can take your own opinion serious.

LKS> Pikmin. Yeah I said it. There is MUCH more specialization in LKS. The story has MUCH more charm. The enemies are MUCH more varied. It isn't as repetitive. There are better adventuring aspects. Pretty much an upgrade in all aspects. Now Pikmin 3 might turn out better, but as of right now Little King's Story is a much much better game.

Vg$-9,400... that explains it

nothing to see here.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

Nice try kid

Pixel Art can be fun.

How on earth does it have a worse story than Pikmin? Pikmin has pretty much no story at all.

Little King's Story, on the other hand, has a unique, interesting story.  It also has a brilliant presentation, and the boss battles just blow Pikmin out of the water.

Pikmin and Little King's Story aren't equal. Little King's Story focuses far more on adventuring, and gives you far more freedom. The fact that it lets ou do whatever you want is a huge plus, as opposed to Pikmin where you're forced to go back at night, and then start all over the next day.
