I don't think so but it's going to contribute to PS3 sales levels staying high the whole holydays.

By itself it can't reach that. Most sales will come from the people who bought the first.
Although that doesn't mean it won't pull in more people, but I don't think it will pull in over 70k week 1.

Of coarse many other games are releasing around that time. 300k is still a possibility, but not on the back of only Uncharted 2.

I never disagreed with a small spike. I just don't see a massive boost happening.

There are still a lot of people who make their purchasing decisions on what they see on televison and back of the box descritpions. People like us are in the minority. They are not on gaming blogs or websites. So if you look at the back of the box and see the features that are listed, it looks like many other games.

Now put Nathan Drake as you lead character, who is nothing exciting, and this why I say there won't be massive spike in sales.

Nathan Drake is one of the most deep characters out there and is supported by deep characters.

He is an exciting character. A great character, inside of a great story, world, action and drama.

Uncharted(best version) is doing pretty good in Japan lately.
If PS3 sales will stabilize at 35k+, then during Uncharted 2 release PS3 could sell from 40k to 50k.

In Europe, there will be 250GB PS3 bundle on October 14th, if PS3 sales are stabilized at 110k+, then with Uncharted 2 it would be 120-150k.

And in NA average PS3 sales are 80k, it could do 100-110k during Uncharted 2 release week.

PS3 probably will sell 270-310k that week.

I think it'll push units. The price cut came at the perfect time, I expect a lot of people who were on the fence as to what console to buy, or Xbox owners wondering if they should get a PS3, to pick up a PS3 and Uncharted 2 once it hits.

Yeah, it should be. But i don`t think, that in all 3 regions PS3 will do the minimal numbers during Uncharted 2 release. So, 270k will be a minimum for that week. Also i like 270k more, how it sounds.
