So does anyone notice any imbalances? Monster Hunter isn't on that list, but it still shows where capcom's priority's are, and it's not the Wii.

Nintendo is kicking a tremdendous amount of ass, but if it's going to continue to do so it almost looks like it's going to have to do it with it's own two hands. It doesn't look like anybody is too interested in giving Nintendo their best.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

uh, we don't know which system street fighter 4 is going on

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

apparently we do. This is from Capcom's event straight from IGN. I doubt they just made up that it's going to be PS3/360. And if you think about it, it's terribly unlikely that it's going to wii. Who wants to play the next street fighter on the wiimote, with friend codes?

I'm not being anti-wii, it's the only system I own. I'm just pissed that capcom announces a golf game for wii, and Void, bionic commando, ect ect going to everything but wii.

To a large extent, this is residual. Capcom could be working on more titles, but hasn't yet announced them. Otherwise, they could be waiting until these projects completely before they can shift resources.

Most of the PS3 games were announced so long ago, and are multiplat with 360, which is why they have so many games, its easier to port between the two

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

Keep in mind develop time for the 360/PS3 is about 2 years. So assuming those games are coming out within a year, that means they were commited to a year ago, before Capcom realized the Wii's success.

Devil May Cry is the only real franchise Nintendo's not getting that's worth caring about IMHO.

Well I agree that the Wii is still lagging in terms of their support, I think we've seen it start to shift. Monster Hunter III is off that list.

Another way to look at the same list

PC, XBox 360 and PS3 Multiplatform games:

  • Bionic Commando
  • Lost Planet
  • Devil May Cry 4
  • Talisman

XBox 360 and PS3 multiplatform games

  • Commando 3
  • Dark Void
  • Rocketmen: Axis of Evil
  • Super Street Fighter 2: HD Remix
  • Street Fighter IV

Wii Exclusive Games

  • Zak and Wiki
  • Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles
  • We Love Golf
  • Monster Hunter 3 Tri

Wii Multiplatform games

  • Okami

Capcom is hedging their bets with the XBox 360 and PS3 by released EVERY game on both systems with quite a few hitting the PC. It seems that Capcom has enough faith in the Wii to release their Wii games as exclusives (when they could have released many as PS2/PSP games).

Over the next several months I would expect to see a similar trend of Wii games being exclusive while more and more PS3/XBox 360 games are fully multiplatform; at the same time I would expect them to slowly announce more Wii games than PS3/XBox 360/PC multiplatform games (although that will be a slow and steady improvement).

The Wii's big announcement was Monster Hunter 3...
