Well, I haven't been to Quebec myself, but I remember my English teacher telling us some funny stories about the time he used to live in Montreal. Apparently people get really close to you when they talk, like abnormally close, within a foot. He told us how his teaching colleagues (this male one in particular) made him really uncomfortable. If he tried backing away, the guy would subconsciously close the distance again.

Surely shops selling now will still report those sales as "from release date". Otherwise VGC will need to report UC2 sales for the week prior to release, then for actual release week.

Protect our history is a good thing I think, its actually nice to have a french province in north america. Also speaking 2 language or more is very neat. But I have to agree with you about french directly on boxes, if its a rare game and you want to re-sell it 10 years later it may cause problem like a greatest hit version would.
