The guy made an obvious joke about actually shipping anything, it's not being cocky or mean, it's just being funny.

He should have added something like "if it takes any longer, that game will end up on the 360 like FFXIII", now that would be actually mean =D

Of course having more and more cars is not a bad thing. But at the end of the day, they are running a business and they should think that way. Do you think 100 cars more or less will affect the sales in a significant way? I doubt there are a lot of people saying: "If they had 600 cars, I would get the game, but they just have 500, so I pass." 

More than 400 cars should be enough to cover the market. Release another 100 cars and 20 tracks via DLC and make extra money and it is all good.

I am not a sim racing fan, but does GT really need 1000 cars, or even 400 or whatever in Forza? The number of people that drive even half of them is so few, and there almost always seems to be the couple cars that everyone ends up using anyway. It seems like they could get the games out with half the cars and the vast majority of players would be just as happy. Seems like overkill.

This is uncalled for, but in a way... its a blow to the GT creaters, they really should have made the release date for GT5 for christmas this year.

In conclusion... If ya got nothing nice to say dont say it at all... even if the other team is taking there sweet old time. :/
