October 5, 2009 - Torrance, Calif. - XSEED Games is pleased to announce today that Half-Minute Hero for PSP (PlayStation Portable) system will start shipping October 13th to retailers across North America. The highly-anticipated Half-Minute Hero will be available exclusively for the PSP system.

Awarded Best Role-Playing Game (PSP) of E3 2009 by IGN, Half-Minute Hero redefines the RPG genre with fast-paced gameplay, 8-bit style graphics, a rocking soundtrack, and tongue-in-cheek humor. Players are offered an enormous amount of variety and can choose between four modes of accelerated gameplay totaling over 100 unique stages. Each mode features original quests, enemies, and gameplay style. Whether engaged in quick level-grinding or rapid-fire shooting challenges, players have just 30 seconds or, a half-minute, to save the world.

XSEED Games partnered with Marvelous Entertainment USA to secure the North American rights to publish and distribute Half-Minute Hero. The title will start shipping to retailers on October 13th exclusively for the PSP system.
