Tell me... Was the PSP Go suppose to ignite interest for the PSP? No. It was simply an alternative choice for those already interested in it. So tell me... if the PSP's popularity is going down how is that the gos fault?

I was at class. Don't think so highly of yourself. I don't know the figures, but it's very low expectations. 30k for launch week is pretty pathetic. I can only see it going worse from here unless there's a price cut or system seller.

30k for the Go in NA only... Sold more than the PSP did the week before being higher priced...... yeah... pathetic.

30k isn't impressive. DSi sold about 400,000, and it was higher priced than the DSLite.

DSi isn't a DD only device with loads of setbacks to the other model and a bunch of retailers not wanting it to succeed and giving it constantly bad press.
Exactly, you don't know the figures... So how can you say Sony are "Spinning" the statements saying it is in line with expectations?

What a stupid comparison. A system that sells 4 times as much on weekly average along with the company who makes the system had a monopoly for 20 years and the closest compitition before the PSP got like 5% of the market. A system with DD only vs cartridge. A reason for people to upgrade vs none. ... yeah... very comparable.

Just basing it from their PR history.

Fixed. Sony say's it is in line with expectations... Until Sony say otherwise, that is how it is and you really can't prove that it flopped.
No matter how much you try "Spin" it.

Looks like the Go sold 80K WW first week, and Japan doesn't even launch for another few weeks.

For this type of innovation when not all consumers are ready having nor good nor worst oppening is normal. What your saying would be like saying Blue-ray video is a flop because it was not selling at first.
