dude, you are usung a fru fru argument that is based on what the PC is to a minority of people. I am asking what it is in general, what is it's main purpose, WHY DOES THE PC EXIST??? You have done nothing but put words in my mouth to make my argument seem more grey than it is, this is a black or white answer. There is no middle ground. Yes, the lines are being blurred, but the answer is still a clear yes or no. You keep saying no, but you fail time and time again to give a solid answer that is not based on one person's perceoption of the PC. Here is something for you. I decided to use my PC as a bludeoning wheapon, and not a pc...so now, does that make ALL PCs a bludeoning wheapon? THAT is the destinction I am trying to make.

You are in the "believe a PC is a console" list, where you have been from the start, would you rather be in the other list? BTW, you were never misquoted in the OP, did you even read it?

I don't care if you don't like my argument, what is your stance? IS the PC a gaming console, or not? it's a simple yes or no answer. There is no third option.

You accuse me of putting words in your mouth, you skirt around answering a simple question, AND you lie to me...then you have the audacity to ask me to be civil? All I ask is a yes or no. There is no inbetween, no grey area, and so far, you have seemed intent on proving that there is...so no, I really am not sure where you stand. You fail to make it clear.

you still haven't answered my question is the PC Built spacificaly to play games and used only to play games a games console? when you give me an answer to that question I will be able to answer yours.

Your question has been asked and answered severl times throughout this thread, infact, it was answered twice after you asked it the last time. But, since I'm a nice guy...

A PC built specifically to play games, still has other tasks it performs very well. As I exampled in the OP. I can take that PC specifically built to play games, and use it specifically to use programs to do 3D solid modeling (since computors that do this often use many of the same componants as gaming pcs). Just because YOU us that PC for a diferant purpose, does not mean that it is not still a PC, it has many primary purposed as apposed to a gaming console, which has one primary purpose gaming.
