PIXAR
killed Disney, ironic
“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Maybe, maybe not. Details are scarce.

"The worst part about these reviews is they are [subjective]--and their scores often depend on how drunk you got the media at a Street Fighter event." — Mona Hamilton, Capcom Senior VP of Marketing

Uematsu? I say Joe Hisaishi! THAT would be epic!
I can imagine a scene with Mickey starring over the dark, transformed world, and the "6th station" song from Spirited Away. Epic x 100.

Pixar really does make it ok to say you love a large faceless corporation. I love you Pixar. More then most friends and family.
I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.
Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.
Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!
Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.
A game focusing on painting and 'going back to Disneys roots' with Pixar cutscenes? No one sees the irony? Its like making an Astroboy movie entirely out of CG animation.....oh wait.
My point is, its sad that everything Disney has to do now adays is just default to CG animation. Disney has forgotten what their 'roots' are. Note, I'm not saying I hate Pixar. I like their movies as well, and think they're better than most of the junk Disney has produced following Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin (not counting The Emperors New Groove). But a game based on Mickey and '1928 retro' and painting, etc....where does Pixar fit?

Ultimate truth. Joe Hisaishi is one of the true geniuses of our time and would make this game epic just from his music alone. He's already doing it for the Level-5 game Ni no Kuni.
Im getting a feeling that this is not going to be targeted to kids given its steamp punk + apocalyptic esque world and the Disney universe coverd in darkness (black paint). I wouldn't be suprised if they added a kingdom hearts cameo/influence.

This isn't a bad idea, actually. The game coming first, of course, but something Disney might try to cultivate.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
Wow! Amazing. The hype continues. What if they got the team that did the Orchestra for Mario Galaxy and combined it with Nobuo Uematsu, Joe Hisashi, and Motoi Sakuraba and Shinji Tamura. (Yeah, I'm really dreaming)
NINTENDO
nintendo forever . . .

Ok, now THIS grabbed my attention.
Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!
Kojima: Come out with Project S already!
