Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo cancelled Headstrong title to focus on lifestyle games

Keep in mind that the source is the resume of one of the devs, he's not going to say that Nintendo dropped support due to the game being boring and buggy

Exactly. I'm not trying to imply that he's lying, but people with an agenda are going to take this as gospel.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Also note, that Nintendo doesn't use the term "casual games".

This sounds like this developer only told his own interpretation of the events.

Unless it's revealed that they canceled a really awesome game, I don't care. And usually, if there's a really awesome game in development, we'd already know about it. Games get canceled all the time, and this doesn't seem like news. Hope his next project does better and gets finished though.

I'd have liked another Battallion Wars, but not enough folks played the first two. They're missing out!

what i find hard to imagine is nintendo saying 'oh sorry, we dont want to publish your game anymore cos we only do lifestyle games but we will still publish games from developers like artoon

nintendo fanboy, but the good kind

proud soldier of nintopia

Nintendo cancelled several games during that time. Titles made by n-Space, Monster Games, Kuju London as well as Fuse Games were all shelved.
