Not really excited about this title.

We already now, do you really have to come in every thread about a Wii game and say that??? Just stay out of the Nintendo forums please, you are not interested in their titles anyway.

I played the demo and it's amazing, it's a real shooting frenzy that need some concentration. Each character has special abilities, and when the main point is, well, shooting, you can use your gun as a sword for close combat. A game for scorers, that is. Making this one longer is a blast, and I am delighted to hear about an online ranking system (oh yes, Star Soldier R

One of my most awaited game for 2010, and i'm usually not into shooters...

But, it's a Treasure game, and even if Ikaruga or the first Sin and Punishment were too hard for me (i'm not ashamed to admit it, i sometimes don't have the skills), i think the Wii controls will just be perfect for such a game... and i'm better with a wiimote to point and shoot, way better...

Plus, my set-up is made for it, as i only play on my home cinema "big white screen": very easy to shoot on any tiny detail then... (yes, it rocks, even if it's 480p only... :)

2010 can't come fast enough, this is the year with a Wii line-up as it should have been in 2007...

"A beautiful drawing in 480i will stay beautiful forever...

and an ugly drawing in 1080p will stay ugly forever..."

The combination of WiFi Rankings and the Homebrew channel for cheating is going to ruin it right quick.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

You know that in some circles that coming into a thread with a news article about a game (that exists exclusively on a system that you are known to be a detractor of) specifically to talk trash about a game is known variably as "shitting on a thread", or, less colloquially, "trolling"?

Anyway.

This sounds fantastic. It's pretty much what I wanted out of Starfox Wii, and it will probably be harder - just more linear. I can live with that. The first Sin and Punishment was fantastic, and with these new controls I expect this one to be the definitive example of the genre.

how is that trash talking.

Generally when one comes into a topic that contains announcements made about an anticipated title just to say how muh the title does not excite you, it is generally taken to be "trash talking", or, more accurately, "attempting to take away from the impact of a given piece of news through the revealing of knowledge that everyone was prepared for anyway". It has to do with trying to kill the momentum of a thread that's going in a certain direction - there are several members who have had bans over that ind of stealth-trolling, and I can point them out to you if you would enjoy walking through that gallery of the damned.

REGARDLESS

Could Homebrew really allow for cheating in this case?
