I just got my deluxe edition from the ebgames next to my place in Montréal.
There was no French manual. Technically it would be going against the new law, but I guess Montreal is special because Ubisoft and EA are big here.

But that explains why some stores are not selling it, especially in Quebec City. No French Manual = illegal to sell I guess.

I'm a little surprised they didn't take the time to make a French translation; it's like 20 little pages with pictures.

I'm kind of happy that some stores are going against the law. I mean it's a really stupid law...

So yeah that explains why it's not available at most stores.

Around the Network

I was at 2 Best Buys today, they both had about 6 copies each. Dont know what the big fuss is about, just ask an employee to look in back, most of the time they are to lazy to put it out on the racks unless its a big title game. I had to ask if the had Operation Flashpoint, which they had in the back.

I think the deluxe edition would have the French manual if it existed. The deluxe edition is the regular game plus some extra stuff all packed in a nice casing.

I bought the special edition of Street Fighter 4 back then and the French manual was included.

It would be nice if someone from Quebec who bought the regular edition can confirm if there are 1 or 2 manuals. It would most probably confirm why some stores don’t have it.

I just think Atlus forgot about it or just didn’t do it.

At some point, something must have come from nothing...

...nothing can come from nothing...

Im pretty sure they didnt want to bundle 2 limited edition differently. PS2 ans PS3 games from atlus always have the french booklet but sometime takes 1-2 more days to ship.
