hm, I can't help but wish all the JRPGs that released on 360 that are now coming to ps3 to fail.

Really, what was the point of not making these games with a simultaneous release?

because MS payed these guys a lot for the timed exclusive rights. And regarding the Last Remnant, i really could care less. That game was one of the worst RPG's i have ever played and no amount of fixing and extra content is gonna change that. Besides we have a ton of other RPG's comming next year that are more than worth my time and money

Proof? You do realize that the only time a UE3 engine game has hit the PS3 first is when Sony secured exclusive rights to UT3 right. Developers seem to struggle with their first UE3 game particularly on PS3. There have a been few titles that were announced first for PS3 but released first on the 360. Stranglehold and Fatal Inertia are two examples.

Microsoft needed a big game for Q4 2008 in Japan, so they paid S-E to release an unfinished game during that season.

Perhaps the PS3 version wasn't ready to be released, but so was the 360 version.

Oh...my...god. I'll be sure to not pick this up! Why do they even bother? I mean, if were actually GOOD I could see why. But...

This game won't do well on the PS3... I'd be surprised if it does even close to bioshock sales.

I am a Gamer... I play games and not consoles. I have a PC and Console on which I game... I like games. End of Story!

I think people in Japan look forward to it but in west i doubt it.

This shit pisses me off more and more. This timed exclusivity shit is a god damn joke. If I knew this shit was going to happen last year, with all these JRPG titles (ToV, TLR, SO4, etc...) coming to the PS3, I seriously wouldn't have dropped $350 on my 360.

This may sound like me hating on a system and it is. I am hating on this stupid fucking timed exclusivity system. It basically fooled me into believing I HAD to buy a 360 for my JRPG needs.

If one is going to act like they are the new home for these kinds of titles, at least follow that shit up. Now all I see is every new JRPG title, especially the niche ones, which I care for much more, going to the system I bought first.

I enjoyed the hell out of my 360, don't get me wrong, but it really does feel like money pissed down the drain for a JRPG gamer like myself.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

i feel exactly the same way. I bought a 360 for my RPG needs and now it seems like a waste now that they are comming to PS3. Owell i still got ME2 to look forward too right???

What, you mean you are upset about not waiting an eternity to play these games?  Upset that you're seeing people wet their pants about a game you've finished over a year ago?  I'm convinced it's just harder to make games on the PS3, and the only reason these games end up multiplatform is the lack of success in Japan (they double their sales when making multi-p).

Also, Last Remnant was always a mutli-platform title, it was announced that way from the very beginning.  It's just the PS3 version took forever (despite nimrods convinced Microsoft paid for exclusivity.  If they did, the game wouldn't be available on Steam, and the game wouldn't have taken this freakin long to come out for PS3).

^ Yeah, it did. -__-

I bought TLR for the 360 and it is plagued by issues.
I bought ToV for the 360 and loved it.
I bought LO for the 360 and feel it is a bit overrated.
I bought Star Ocean 4 and still haven't had the time to begin playing it.
I bought Infinite Undiscovery because it was $10 in Bestbuy.
I bought Blue Dragon and it I gave up because MaruMaro is a pain in the ass.

In the end I loved (10 JRPG. That is what I got for my $350. After beating ToV I found out not even 1 week later that PS3 was getting it too.

It has been a snowball effect for me. Bad news after bad news.
