who said we where gonna kill ya, its an opinion, i for 1 like metroid prime series but other M will be much better because its a 3rd person

Which is exactly why you posted, showing us that you care enough to say you don't care.

Anyway, no game is going to be fore everybody, but I would have at least given a good explanation as to why you didn't care for it, as it sits, this resembles a flamebait thread.

metroid prime isn't for everyone - the whole game is about atmosphere if you don't like the atmosphere or if it lets you cold you won't like the game. but else you wil love it.

I’m playing through Prime 1 for the first time now and to be fair I wouldn’t rank it up there with Nintendo’s best work. I like it overall – the music, the boss battles, the atmosphere are all great but the pacing is a bit slow and I find the backtracking really quite annoying. I much prefer Prime 3 just because it’s slightly more linear and action orientated.

I find it hard to understand how anyone can prefer Metroid to something like Zelda but then different people have different tastes. The Prime series is still worth completing at least once.

I love the Metroid Prime series, particularly the first, it's one of my favourite games of all time but i can fully accept that it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea.

This is my rating for Metroid thus far.

Super Metroid>Metroid Prime 3>Metroid Prime>Metroid>Metroid Prime 2

I'm betting Other M will be at or near the top.
