Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Two X360-related problems: Netflix code, automatic sign in

My cousin's 360 does not automatically sign in to his profile anymore when he turns on his 360.  Someone created another profile on the 360 and it hasn't worked since then, even though I deleted the other profile.

When my friend uses Netflix streaming, she has to enter a code from the Netflix website to connect her 360 to her Netflix account every time.  It used to connect just fine until she moved.

Does anyone know how to solve either of these issues?  Thanks.

We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai

It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps

We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick

Dang, that's jacked up.

I know when I'm signed in and the modem went out, the Netflix prompt would say I needed Gold to watch it. However, after the modem got online, it would work again.

You should be able to sign out of the profile and disable AUTOMATIC signin. I'm at work and too lazy to search for it, but you can stop that from happening.

About your friend's console - I think it's console specific. Has she tried it on another 360?

Just go into his Profile section, and Enable Auto Sign-In.

I think Sinha was trying to disable auto sign in. I have multiple profiles on my 360 and I usually sign in with the one I want to. Makes things easier.

Sinha, you get that crap handled?
