Sony tried many marketing approaches that backfired with the PSP ...

They created commercials with racist Squirrels, paid artists to illegally put graffitti through out major cities, and had a marketing campaign in Europe which offended many people (White is comming). In my opinion the "White is Comming" campaign was probably the least offensive of the bunch ...
