Great story, fun game play, liked the subtle differences between good and bad powers. Was a bit too quiet sometime, very little soundtrack.

8.5/10, loved it to death, ending was crap however. Visual glitches, and just odd things happened from time to time keep it from being a 9, story was good, except for ending, powers were great, few ones which were useless etc. Though I did love it.

Good game but with a few too many flaws that stopped it from being great. I thought the story was interesting and it kept me coming back to the game particularly towards the end. Fairly solid gameplay, although I felt that getting around the city became a little tedious as the game progressed. The combat was smooth but the powers lacked a little originality (the very cool lightning storm excluded) and basically replaced the basic weapons of a standard shooter (rifle, sniper, rocket, grenade). The side quests become repetitive but I liked how they actually affected the city by creating safe zones and opening access to new features such as clinics. The way the city responded to your actions with people either helping you or hating you was a great touch.

Great game, the city is alive and kicking. Fantastic gameplay for a solid package. Infamous is a quality and one of the best of 09.

Man, I'd almost forgotten that I'd written that review... It's not great, but I did go into a lot more detail than was probably necessary. I also made a trophy guide (link in sig) if any of you need help with it.

Great graphics, great powers, good story with an unexpected twist at the end, free climb ablity is amazing, evil-good alignment was done well with the character explaining in his head why he would do either option. The only negatives really was that many of the textures and buildings were copy paste. You can barely tell the differences in the islands if you just walk around the edges as they have the same exact buildings almost, and there isn't enough to do after beating the game.
