It’s official, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has gone Gold. While this may not matter to many, if any, and we’re not going to announce when each title goes Gold, it almost feels mandatory to inform people that MW2 is now going to happen. As many of you know, Modern Warfare 2 is one of this year’s leading candidates for Game of the Year. So, it’s not going to be too surprising when on November 11th, 2009, Activision reports ridiculous sales figures for the hit sequel.

However, if you’re wanting some early info from the crew behind Modern Warfare 2, you can add them to your XBL account (I know guys, not relevant to us) in order to check out map names and which game modes they’re available in. While we’re not a 360 website, you have to be aware that the list of map names released are identical to those on our console of choice and thus, relevant.

We’ve included a YouTube video below that details the Achievement’s list for Modern Warfare 2 (expected to be the same as PS3 Trophies).

Now I just hope November come soon enough... I want my online addiction back!!

Hey what about PS3, I hate activision and their personal disregard for Sony,

But damn I'm still going to get this game anyways.

They know that it'll sell more than double the PS3 sales on 360. This is probably Infinity Ward, not Activision.

But yeah, Bobby Kotick does suck. So, Sony cut the price. Now what?

I'm not 100% positive but i think i remember someone tellin me there are 15 prestiges in MW2 but yeah i agree I will aim for every prestige, the platinum, and top 10 in the leaderboard for score
