Forums - Microsoft - GameDaily - Forza 3 is the BEST SIM RACER in a LONG time!

I think the cars didnt turn realisticly round the corners. Its like the floated and the back end always goes slightly out

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

It's true that I installed it, but many simple modifications can be done to your nowadays car that most people don't know about it.
I also disagree with Skeeuk with Forza being more arcade than sims when it comes to tuning up the assists to different degrees. Forza 3 handles pretty well the driving physics with all the assists off, but the one thing that I really think that's outstanding in the game it's the opponent's A.I.
In advanced they use every trick in the book to overtake you, throw you off the track, they use the slipstream cone like true pros, and they seem to always get the best Torque RPM curve like most professional drivers do. I saw the telemetry of a RS8 opponent, and he managed to handle all the shifts at the maximum Torque peak of 4400 RPM of the RS8, that just blew me away.

Oh Yes! because cars NEVER oversteer in real life.

Learn too manage the accelerator pedal/trigger if you don't want the back end to spin out.

Yeah, and in the Camino Viejo track you're basically screwed if you don't know how to use the rear view mirrors to block their racing lines, because there are so damn many passing points in the whole track.
It will be very fun to race on the city courses with the A.I as it is, because of the lack of passing points on that type of tracks, making every place conquered a really hard feat.

I've mainly been playing the demo in hotlap mode, so haven't really seen the AI very much, but do they pull to the side if you manage to lap them? That was my biggest gripe in FM2, having to go around lapped cars instead of having them move put of my way.

@mistershine

Well, in the demo i've just tried 2 lap races, which doesn't give you much room even to get to first place (on advanced), so i haven't yet seen any lapped cars so far. I don't know if we can adjust the number of laps, but i'll try it out once i get home, you've got me curious about that particular aspect of the AI.

its limited to 2 laps in the demo i think...

You can press Y on the map select to view the leaderboards and then press A and play a hotlap mode with infinite laps and no A.I.

why are they fanboys? because they said a game is great that isn't on your console...don't act so insecure..

after playing the F3 demo I can see big improvements in every aspect of the game, the cars have much much more detail and the handling is great...
