Oh, axumblade, I just remembered:

Do you know it's spelled "doomed"?  I had figured you simply weren't bothering to fix the picture in your sig, but I recently saw you write something about "dome", and I'm pretty sure you meant "doom".

Just thought I'd mention it while we're waiting for daybreak.

As far as I know, someone made a thread "PS3 is domed". That has been the joke on here forever after.

Right, and (in addition to my other post) I thought of that as a possibility. But when he said "dome" instead of "doom" in a regular post, I thought he might be making a mistake.

Although, that was just a theory for me, as I don't actually recall that thread.

Ah, yes, I remember it now. But I didn't know people had turned it into a meme. I guess I don't run in those circles. Also I was gone for pretty much all of August. The period I was away is probably why I forgot about it.

Additionally (and here's where I really ruin the joke) it seems to me that the Domed joke is a completely different offshoot of the Doomed joke, so making the Domed-o-meter, which is actually making fun of the Doomed joke IMO, doesn't make too much sense to me.

Unless some people have done a complete word replacement of "doomed-->domed" like "own-->pwn"??
