First off I would like to say that I love this site more than any other site on the planet and am not writing this thread to flame it.  The sales numbers, news, and the highly intelligent posters make this site a joy to hang out on.  I have made several friends here and think that most everyone is great.

But there is a certain type of person that I don't like.  Basically I don't care for people that have been on here a year less than me, that have posted twice as much, and act like I'm a newcomer that doesn't belong here.  This is not me complaining about people that post a lot ( I love Soriku for example) or people that have been here for a shorter time than me.  I just don't care for people that act like they are part of an exclusive club and that others don't belong.  I just wanted to get this off of my chest.

Anyone else feel similarly or have anything that bothers you about the site?  Let's try to keep it well behaved.

I'm new and I also noticed this. I was going to say it in my post, until I read your entire initial post.

The only thing that bothers me are the slowdown the website has sometimes. It gets really long just to open a thread.
And don't forget: A lot of posts =/= A good poster

I dislike it when wherever I click I fire up an add when I just want to click on the page to activate it for scrolling up / down.

I guess I miss some of the regulars who have trailed away over the last 12 months or so.

I also feel the front page is looking a little cluttered now, and tries to get too much onto one single page - news, numbers, articles, ads, etc.

But overall it's still my favorite game site.

Oh, and I agree, I do dislike anyone being rude - hard to prevent on the net though.

I also don't like that the new look looks so "Gamespoty"... The new design is good, but it resembles too much to Gamespot's (they also changed the look some time ago).

I think I see Eurogamer.net changing its colours into black and orange...

people who go into threads just to trash-talk them. if it doesnt interest you, why bother clicking on it just to vent your opposition to it in an attempt to make yourself seem so much more intelligent or whatever?
