Probably a few of them can be shown, but they'll not...

I am just asking if you think there will be some news, not trying to say that this conference will have more megatons than E3.

CURRENTLY PLAYING: Xenoblade (Wii), Super mario 3D land (3DS), Guild Wars (PC)

Nintendo is in a perfect position to push a lot of AAA first party software over the next 18 months. Too bad they probably won't.

Good for them that people like myself will be more than satisfied with what their offering: Zelda, Mario, Metroid.

There will probably be a demo of M&S at the Winter Olympics, a couple Wii Fit+ stations and they will announce the release date for NSMBWii in Japan. This is not their show, they have a tiny booth at an event no one knows or cares about.

Proud poster of the 10000th reply at the Official Smash Bros Update Thread.

tag - "I wouldn't trust gamespot, even if it was a live comparison."

Bets with Conegamer:

Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.

Fullfilled Prophecies

Nintendo will probably not show anything new as this is more of an event about showing announced games to the public.

This is Nintendo's website about the event. Apart from the nice artwork of Mario and Peach in traditional Japanese clothes there isn't anything else interesting on it. The games listed are Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, Wii Fit Plus, Wii Sports Resort, Pokémon Rumble, and the DS Pokémon games.

Sorry for the double post.

As of now there hasn't been anything announced. Here are some pictures.

Well, japan people loves so much Pokemon! For every person in the first pics there are five in the 5th one...it seems that nothing hs been announced, like all of you said :)

CURRENTLY PLAYING: Xenoblade (Wii), Super mario 3D land (3DS), Guild Wars (PC)

Going by what Rhonin posted, it just seems like more of an exhibition for them, rather than a platform for any sort of press release or anything, and certainly not a place where they would announce anything non-Japanese.

It's wierd that they're skipping a fall conference entirely this year, though, since they have a lot of stuff they need to make announcements about, especially in the West moreso than the East, but they really need to elaborate on the status of their E3 lineup, i think, especially if some of them are slated to release in the first half of 2010.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

prolly nothing, but the fanboy in me is screaming for some news

I guess this year we're going to have to wait until December for Christmas to arrive.
