Who will come in 1st 2nd and 3rd sales wise this holiday season?

Also for each region what will sell most?

Yes I am talking about only home consoles.

Also I count Holiday sales starting around November 20th to December 31st.

My Pick:

 

America

#3: Sony PS3- The pricecut and the slim will fade with no big games and sony has delayed all of their big games to 2010. The good news is that PS3 should pick up in 2010 in America.

#2: Microsoft 360- With the new pricecut and Halo3 ODST Microsoft will sell huge #s in there home country.

#1: Nintendo wii- With the new and 1st pricecut for the wii it should see big numbers. Also with WFP NSMBW and even WSR wii no doubt will see big sales in America.

Japan

#3: Microsoft 360- Do I need to have a reason.

#2: Sony PS3- This was hard. PS3 will slow down in Japan until the week of FF13 but it will be to little to late.

#1: Nintendo wii- Also due to the wii having its very first pricecut it should do well for awile. Also big sequels are coming and already have came.

Others

#3: Microsoft 360- It has nothing special right now while the PS3 has a slim and Wii has its 1st pricecut.

#2: Sony PS3- It will lose to wii by a tiny amount.

#1: One thing WSR bundle.

WW

#3: Microsoft 360- America alone won't make it win this holiday.

#2: Sony PS3- Will outsell 360 by a big # and fill in some of the gap thanks to Japan.

#1: Nintendo wii- Will it ever lose?

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

provided you have enough to buy 1000 (or was it 10000 ?) shares.

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

The only difficult situation is in Japan, where both PS3 and Wii have big games and price cuts.
WW i'm 99% sure will be: Wii, PS3, X360.

I think the PS3 will have a pretty big holiday but it'll still be nothing compared to Wii, especially in December.

360 will be the big loser but it'll still do ok, probably flat YoY.

I think Wii and PS3 will have quite close numbers in Japan, I agree with the OP.
