But they are high quality. Japanese cast is A-class cast (Most of voice actors are from famous anime series.) Japanese dub is made with big budget. English cast is usually made with smaller budget and cast is pretty unknown... I don't say that always bad but usually yes. (at least to my ears)


If English VA had bigger budget who do you would want to play the parts ?

what I don't understand is WHY can't S-E phone up Konami & ask em who the MGS4 voice cast is

Now you are exaggerating. That is just a fact that JRPG developers put more money in Japanese cast. Situation is especially bad with these little smaller budget JRPG games (Star Ocean IV english dub is just so horrible). Luckily FF games are big budget games ( and sell in the west)so they invest also to english cast. Still it would be nice to also have Japanese dub in PS3 version of FFXIII. Then people could decide which one to pick.

Eng dub is great than most JRPG but Jap ones still better.

but far cry from japanese dub.
there is a petition for japanese dub on the english version for the ps3?

i ask myself the same questions. and i cant for the life of me understand how some ppl here find this dub terrible. Seriously if u guys love jap voices so much, than plz just do us all a favour and move to the damn country already. Oh and btw the only jap game that had really REALLY bad VO's is SO4 IMO.
