Maybe i don´t see what u guys do but the game only looks like lego how can u be hyped about it. Maybe its just me i don´t know.

Did you ever play The Legend of Zelda: A Link to The Past?

Large portions of 3D Dot Game Heroes look like they are a 3D cubed version of the game.

I am interested because the art style is different. From Software is also on a streak of good games so I figure this game to be no different

I fail to see any parody in this game. As for now: it's a Zelda rip-off.

oh, and to clarify further why I want the game, is that I love the zelda formula. Large open world with bad guys and puzzles. Simple sword fighting, items, and castles. Overall if they don't screw it up it should be a really good action/adventure game.

The game could even look nothing like Zelda, but the fact that it did look like Zelda is what got me to take a closer look at it.

I better get started on my "Master of the Rings" trilogy, just as soon as I finish writing "Moby Penis".

I think it's far too early to write off a game, but based on the videos I've seen, this certainly borrows too much to be considered its own IP, whether this arrogant, angry prick wants to admit it or not. Rappers sample music as an "homage" too, until they get sued for blatant thievery. You want to say that "Ice, Ice, Baby" was supposed to sound and feel like "Under Pressure" because 'Nilla just loved and respected Queen so much?

If this game has its own personality beyond the superficial appearance of "Lego Zelda", then great. But, if it's merely retreading old ground, why is it even worthwhile? We've already played this game before, and no matter how well it's "reimagined", this version will be nothing more than the food club variety, unless, as I said, it brings something worthwhile to the table. Sorry for another music analogy, but the very worst cover songs are those that sound (almost) exactly like the original--you're not going to do it better, so you'd better do it different, or people are, rightfully, going to call you out on it.

Oh yeah, and Jim Sterling, whoever the hell he is, and his attitude can go pound salt. I'm not going to be bullied into accepting his slobberingly devoted point of view.
