What a liitle gem this handheld is, very underrated...only sold about 2.5 million out of the 81.5 million GBA's but is really is a superb wee machine and the only handheld I would class as genuinely portable (fits in denim pockets etc).

But it was a little too small to use comfortably, wasn't it? SP was better I think.

I never saw it in real life actualy. SP didn't really need any improvements.

The screen is slightly smaller but it is quite readable. Its drawbacks to some was that it only played GBA carts and it did not accept other GBA peripherals. But I personally love mine for simple game playing.

it depends if you have big fat BigMac American fingers/hands or normal rest of the world fingers/hands.

The only thing I remember about those was how stupid small they were (which sucked because I have big hands) and how much better the SP was.

If you do have big hands then it might have been a problem, thankfully I only have a big penis and normal hands.
