Forums - Sony - I am so getting Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 on the PS3

@PullusPardus:
lol....well see. If I lose it doesn't matter. I believe Final Fantasy's two week to first month sales (in Japan) will be amazing as opposed to the first week. I dunno, its just something about the economy, the low turn outs Japan has been having at events, the lack of JRPG sales in Japan (which is probably why WKC is being sold in the west) and the fact that Japan only has 3.59 M consoles sold over there and other things. Luckily for Sony, they will be selling bundles, so that might help the first week effort, but I don't believe it will be enough. As I said, we'll see.

I don't like the nerfed gore at all.

Sixaxis boobs make up for it a little, though.

I really like that the gore was toned down. The game has much sleeker and more intelligent feel. When I played the small bit of NG2 that I did, I was just in a pile of bodies.

The gameplay vids I've seen up to now looked to frenetic and difficult for me. God of War seemed to have combat paced about right and at the right level of difficulty. But this review suggests NGS2 while still frenetic has toned the difficulty down for the first run through, which makes it a possible buy for me. But depends on the final rating. If it's an R16 I might not get it past the house censor AND be allowed to get GoW I&II compilations, Uncharted 2 and GoW III. That's too many games the little'uns won't be allowed to play.

Trust me, if NG2 was too daunting for you this game is right up your alley.

This game lacks gore!

I am displeased........but I'll probably pick this up used in the future.

It has enough gore, and has so much more than one would've earlier expected.

Agreed, the same thing happend with Tales of Vesperia, Star Ocean: The Last Hope, and most likely Magna Carta II for the future.

Day 1 here aswell, i also like the toned down gore, in my opinion a game does not need to be overly violent like God of War to be fun, infact in highly against blood and gore if possible, each game i have that has the option to turn it off i do so, theres just really no need for it.

And yes, i tried the demo to, and damn... i rented the 360 version for a short while and its crap VS this Sigma II edition, Tecmo really back fucking stabbed MS on the Ninja Gaiden Franchise, i wonder if DoA games are next to come?

At anyrate, the demo was greated, the moves were wicked, very Advent like and mind-blowing, and the chicks? mmm.... Ayane is legal now... :D :D :D

LOL @ Ayane being legal.
