Forums - Sales - Will dead or alive 4 ever be set as a million seller on vgcharts? (links)

So when looking at the data for vgcharts, it seems pretty in line with the official tecmo announcement, aside the fact it is not including europeon figures. Here are two sources I found randomally in google.

Tecmo announces today that its title Dead gold Alive 4 ran out to more than one million specimens from its exit during winter 2005/2006. On the whole, these are 500.000 specimens of Dead gold Alive 4 which found taking in Europe, 400.000 in North America and 100.000 in Japan.

So what do you guys think? Is this a real million seller or did tecmo pull the wool over the eyes of many? This was announced quite awhile and has since become a platinum hit officially, which would lead me to believe tecmo sold out of their shipments after this was announced. Thanks for reading.

Around the Network

I missed out on the other Dead Gold Alive games. Some sort of survival horror business?

not at all, it's a very fun entry level 3d fighter with a strange sense of humor and giant boobs. It still has a strong online community today though and looks lovely for it's time. If you like 3d fighters i'd try it since its like 20 or 30 bucks now.

It was just a poor joke based on the wonky translation, is all. It's late and some things are funnier in concept than in practise. I apologize.

my bad, I still don't see the funny and could easily see how someone could misunderstand the name :p
