Forums - Sales - Overall sales: How does affect the number of replaced/rebought consoles?

How does affect the number of replaced/rebought consoles (because the previouse one broke) in overall sales?

I don't want to start a flame war. So please, keep civil.

I just want we discuss some figures.

Thank you.

I honestly have no idea... I would imagine that if the person had to re-buy a console then it would count as another +1 to the total consoles sold on the site, as there is no way of knowing what has happened to them once the information about them being bought has been taken...

About 50 million Wii's are broken. 0 360's thanks to M$ customer support and 14 PS3's thanks to a solid build.

I guess so.

Then, can we say that the figures we know are a tad "incorrect" or "unfair", from the point of view of the number of true owners of the console? Hm...

You could say that. However, then you also have to say that the attach rate is "incorrect" or "unfair".

Yes we can :) And also there's a question of how many units have been modified to play non-legit content.
