Forums - Nintendo - The vgchartz ranking game--Madworld!

A solid 8.5

Definitely a great game with very fun and unique mechanics. It was nice to play something for once that actually felt fresh and different. It wasn't too radically different of course, but it felt that way when ya played it. The atmosphere and the extreme use of blood and gore definitely worked to its advantage that really gave it a unique feel. Of course it did have it's downsides, main one being almost no replay value whatsoever... took 5 hours to beat the game. Although it was repetitive, for me it wasn't an issue because I enjoyed doing it every time. So would have been in the 9's had it not been for that replay value issue which keeps it from that status. But it was one hell of a 5 hours haha.

Enjoyed the game greatly, particularly when repeating it on the higher difficulty setting, Would of liked too see more variety of combat though. I also would of liked to see more difficult/larger boss battles.

7.5

Really fun, very good voice acting/script, and addicting. However, it is repetitive and I had no interest in playing more than once through.

Had it had some sort of intense coop or online feature for all out brawls, it would definitely scored a lot higher.

Game is fun at times, I play it in short bursts every now and again, but just doesn't have enough to pull me in for the long haul.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

A solid 8.4.

A good, new, and interesting game, but it does get repetative and there i no replay value other than arcade style replay (the levels are a bit too long for that though) and a harder difficulty.

The game is fun though, and thats what counts. The motion controls work great and actually make the game better IMHO.

Great goreish art style but short and way too repetitive

Wenn killerspieler in killerspielen killerspieler killen, dann killen killerspieler in killerspielen killerspieler.

Just so u know, if we are allowed to give a game 9.8 on 10, it means the reviews are based on a 100 point scale, not a 10 point scale.

The motion sensors don't always detect. The camera is pure crap. Motorcycles stages bore me out of my mind.

However, art style is cool. When motions work, very fun.

I give the game a 7.

8.5

Like the art style, the announcers, the bloodbath challenges were nice minigames too. voice acting was pretty damn good IMO. While the gameplay did get repetitive I'd just focus on trying to unlock the boss battles before time expired. The motorcycle stages could've been done a bit better, and the only real thing that I truly disliked was the mostly unreliable camera lock system.

I give it a 8.5

This game is made for brawler fans and does not apologize for it and to me thats great.

Like all thier work before that team always knows how to make a unique style for each game and this game is for people who fit in the Godhand crowd.(very niche)

It could have done without the motorcycle bits and a better lock on targeting feature however.

Even though it's more polished than another gamelike NMH I did enjoy NMH more but still a very solid title,it's just not for everyone.

I would give it a 5

Pro:
Fast and easy to pick-up
Good use of the wiimote
Art style is cool...

cons:
Art Style is cool but hurt
No good reason to fight... what i would rename: Stupid Violence
Boring if you play long
Repetitive
Not enough Combos or variety

If you think you're gaming too much, Game even more !
