What they're saying is that they don't expect this thing to sell on-par with the 3000 at all. It's clearly just there for SONY to get extra money out of the more willing and financially stable consumers. It also let's you know that the 3000 isn't going no where.

No it doesnt apply to the J man....he isnt telling you to go based on the content of an opinion and strictly judging by the opinion(which is exactly what your doing)......hes telling you to go,based on your ability to handle different opinions ,that forums arent for you.
