I think people are underestimating or forgetting about this release. If it gets marketed well it should be the second or third best 360 seller this year after Modern Warfare 2 and ODST. It's also the only thing close to a 360 system seller. Or are PS3 owning GTA fans so fanboyish that they won't even take a look at a $199 360 for playing it?

Certainly it will sell at least another million on top of the few million im sure the episodes have done online by now.

2M is not a stretch. I do think folks will buy it for the two episodes and the standalone factor. I know I'll be getting a copy, so there's a sale.

I don't think not wanting to pay $199.99 for a single game is fanboyish... and to say so is just pretty silly! I would not buy a 360 to play this if i never already had one!

Unless it is a major improvement on the core game I wouldn't even consider it if I had a 360. Unless it is priced very cheap? And I guess I'm a PS3 fanboy because I wont pay €199 for DLC haha.

I think that 1 million is pushing it TBH. The game released a long time ago and most people have moved on.

You say it'll reach 2 million copies sold by the end of 2009. Are you willing to take a bet?

Did you play Lost and the Damned? That thing rocked. It was actually better and much, much more polished than the core game. That said, it's gonna sell pretty well.

From the shotgun you can use on the motorcycle to the new cars and other weapons, it's a definite improvement.

@ Squall - it's a choice, plain and simple. It's an awesome game, and the episodes really, really outshine the core game. And since MS did pay for the extra content, I doubt you'll see it anytime soon on the PC or the PS3.

I'm more interested in picking this up than GTAIV, and will likely get it at some point during the holiday season.
