Why aren't videogames in Australia allowed to have an R18+ rating? It sucks that videogames are treated differently than books and movies and the only reason is because clueless people still associate all videogames with children. Videogames have come a long way and it's too bad that the prejudice against them (videogames aren't art, videogames are for children, etc) still exist.
They banned GTA III and GTA:San Andreas.
Yet not GTA:Vice City......? 
I think Australian citizens should really have the choice.

That single link spoke volumes. That game looks to be a sociopaths wet dream. What is with some games recently. Do we actually need this much gore, or more specifically this level of inhumanity. I am not sure but its got to be related to why some people think dog fights are wonderful entertainment.
sick stuff. furthermore, it looks extremely unrealistic. a bullet hits the leg - oh the leg gets severed. whats up with that?
