I quit playing when I picked up Valkyria Chronicles though...will need to get back to it eventually.

Totally agree about the cover mechanic. Although I used it to hide behind a bunker, peaking around corners in cover was absolutely worthless. A promising mechanic, poorly executed.

elite is the hardest difficulty. and those are the youtube videos I saw that gave me the idea to use the knife at that part. The knife dominates in k2

I know elite is the hardest difficulty. But here's the funny thing.
After hard, elite was easy.
Hard took me about 32 hours to compete. I'm already at the last boss on elite in less than 11.

I have yet to play elite mode on KZ2 but i have a feeling it will be hard lol

Some parts of the game, with massive fights you can just sprint through to the next checkpoint. Even on Elite. On the approach to the fight with Radec, I just sprinted past all the big fights, even sprinted up past all the barracades and up through the doors.

It was funny to see one of the other dudes (can't remember his name) close the door behind me saying we'll hold outside, after sprinting by around 100 helghans.
