I think the trace amounts of "whine" in my original response were nullified by my subsequent comment. But thanks for bringing the cheese.

That's fine, but your post brought me back to Feburary where many people were going crazy because the aiming and acceleration was different compared to other games. Though yes, there was an input lag depending on your TV and my parent's TV suffered from it verses the one at my apartment (though a quick switch to 'game mode' fixed it).

Wow you got that far on Elite difficulty? I beat the game on the hard, but once I tried that part in the hardest mode it was clear I wasn't getting anywhere.

That part is so frustrating because it lacks checkpoints.

I passed it first time on hard. Only because I was getting tired of easy shooters on consoles...

It was hard but I don't regret it... it made the fights epic as hell. I just redid parts over and over until I finally got it.

One the best things about KZ2 is that the AI in this game is really good. If you're not solid from start to finish, missing that one kill could really come back to bite you.

Reminiscing on KZ2 now... That game was so fun!!!

i'm playing through the game on elite, or whatever the hardest setting is, and it's pretty freaking hard.

i found that charging the higs and knifing them is a very effective technique.

I play too many FPS to justify NOT playing on the hardest difficulty available. The hardest part, IMO is getting used to the controls; not because I think they are laggy, but becuase the cover mechanic is useless. Once I stopped trying to rely on that, I moved through the game nicely.

I quit playing when I picked up Valkyria Chronicles though...will need to get back to it eventually.

^ I got used to the controls midway through the first mission... I actually found I preferred them to most other FPS I've played on a console... but then again I don't really play FPS that often on consoles.
