Forums - Nintendo - Ubisoft's upcoming Wii games deserve more attention

Red Steel 2 is looking interesting... I am not following Rabbids though, it looks like fun, but fun that would last about 5 hours and have no reply value for me.

Ubi is surely milking the Rabbids franchise.

RS2 is a first day buy, no matter the reviews.

If this were another Rabbids minigame frenzy, I'd agree that it's milking. As long as they're bringing fresh ideas and gameplay, I really don't mind if the same characters keep coming out to play.

I'm pretty sure SmokedHostage is just yanking people's chain about the Imagine series.

The comment was probably more about putting them in Turtles Smash Up than this game.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

I'm very much excited for Red Steel 2, could be a potentially AAA game.

Rabbids has a great pedigree and I can understand how some people are excited for it, I just am not personally...

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

Red Steel 2 is mhy most anticipated game right now,

Support? Ubisoft?

Talk to me when they discontinue the Imagine series.

There's a market for the Imagine series, and it's obviously a market that doesn't mind that the games are terrible. Why be mad at Ubisoft? They're being a smart company.

I'll wait for reviews on Red Steel 2.

Apparently not all of the Imagine games are terrible. They are made by a multitude of different developers, so there's a decent game among them once in a while.

In response to the thread title: No.

You're welcome to disagree, of course, but since you've clicked the link and made a response, I've already won.

Yessir! I'm definitely anticipating both titles, and I'm really curious about Rabbids Go Home. It's coming out next month and we still know very little about the game (but it does have that amazingly awesome Rabbid-in-the-WiiMote extra).

Red Steel 2 is looking like the title we all wanted when we first bought the console. I'm pretty darn excited, and the fact that Ubisoft has delayed it past the holiday season tells me that they're serious about making it the best game they can, instead of releasing a rushed game to make the most sales possible.

I was able to play a demo of Rabbids Go Home and I found it really repetitive and boring.

AND No More Heroes 2 : D

Why isn't the steel Red?

In my opinion, Ubisoft are only bested by Activision. When it comes to being shit.
