Perhaps. However because of the PSP Go and the push towards digital media, PSP users as a whole may now get greater choice. Do you know how hard it is to get copies of games like Disgaea, Tales of Eternia, Jeanne D'Arc on UMD? Even if only some of these kind of titles become available on the PSN I'll be happy!

I think we can assume all future games will be in both formats (with some only digital like Badman).

It is sounds like new games will go to the old PSPs and some of those games will be converted to digital so that PSP GO may play them. That sounds like the biggest videogame manufacturer mistake I've heard of since the RROD.

Also, you can find UMD titles on eBay CrazyHorse. I don't know if any titles that go above MSRP outside of Patapon 2 UMD - because a lot of people wanted it on UMD rather then digitial (just go to a local Target It's been clearanced out already).

He's referring to games that were released on UMD prior to Oct 1st.

Yeah I had to buy both disgaea and Tales of Eternia from Ebay but because of that I paid more than I would have if they were available on the PSN. Also, buying them over the PSN gives the money to the developer rather than the person selling the second hand game.

Anyway, as others have said this will be refering to old games and even then I suspect it's a very small amount (although it will probably be some time before most of them are available).
