The max thing sounds funny when we are talking about a game many considered an average game. Please read feedback from peeps who tried the demo, here is the link:

This post looks funny when you consider that most of the average comments came from Sony fans, or people who played it on an SDTV.

Yeah, it looks like trash on a SD TV. I played it...but playing it on an HD TV is worlds different, I know because just in Halo3 alone I saw a huge difference while I still had my 42" HDTV. I really don';t think anybody playing the game on an SDTV should be commenting on the graphics.

Especially lighting. On an SDTV ( my friend had to have his HDTV fixed ) we played Uncharted for a bit. It looked little better than an Xbox 1 game. Same with his copy of Gears 1. Looked like a last gen game. HDTV's do much more than resolution. It's also got more colour variations as well as depth of lighting. Blur etc etc. So much to it.

If you are unimpressed with this game, you are a Sony fan, confirmed

I'm quite sure there are tens of thousands of PC gamers that are laughing at Forza 3 right now. They'd be laughing at GT5 as well mind you. I'm also pretty sure my girlfriend wouldn't be impressed, or anyone else who doesn't notice any difference between DVD and Blu Ray and I'm sure they aren't Sony fans.

Why would they be laughing at GT5 when it's graphics stomp everything we've seen in gaming history?

GT5 and Forza 3 look fundamentally the same, even if one is a bit better than another they are still both on the same level.

I know what this guy is referring to, but... a lot of Arcade games only use a single core on the X360... does that qualify, in MS' 1st party book, as 100% usage?

...I think not. His statement only applies to non-parallel systems, wheres there's no actual idling (outside of cache misses, bad conditionals, etc... typical thread stalls) of cores.

This is MS PR trying to convince the uneducated that their competitors statements about core utilization somehow don't apply, because "all the world is a single core" or something. Its not even true on the 360 (although its much closer to being so, than a certain other competitor), so his statement (about 100% usage) is really meaningless.

On the other hand, its totally true that games that even use 100% of the cores can be optimized to use them better.  Therein is the important part of his statement...  Forza 4 will be even better, by the hand of the engineers who created it (as opposed to just via hardware).

Then in thta case Call of Duty 2 maxed out 360 as it used all three cores = S

On consoles games use 100%. Not on PC's, Windows won't ever allow it.

When we start seeing games using the new dev kit and tools that MS released earlier this year we can expect bigger leaps still.
