Same thing I said in my post. If they want me to take this game as a serious entry into what I am still trying to cling to as Final Fantasy, they need to get rid of as many Anime focused ideas as possible. That isn't the series that I grew up on. It seems like every entry gets closer to this. If the soundtrack is going to be Jpop, I know where their priorities are, and I will sure be skipping the cutscenes and only playing the game from a gameplay point of view. I know that this anime focused idea makes the sell better, but it is something I do not want the series to go into anymore than it has. There is enough Jrpgs with Jpop and overly dramatic cutscenes on the market. That is not what I want in Final Fantasy. I want a good story that stays reasonable and realistic while keeping things simple yet thought-provoking. Lately, they have been trying to whore the games out to overly complex plot devices and that isn't something I want. Anyway, so far the story seems fine, but the Music needs to be fixed. If they create a good atmosphere, and don't ruin it with overly dramatic characters or complex plot devices to give a subsitute for backbone, then it may be my favorite Final Fantasy since IX.

I'm assuming english isn't your first language? Out of place doesn't refer to a specific place, but a setting. They seem like additional characters that were added for the hell of it. Hopefully I'm wrong, but the game wouldn't change much without them from what I see right now.

Wow that was amazing, it felt like I was watching an anime, but the graphics are definately lacking.. they can look better, character models aren't as good as MGS4 (almost not even close), and the environmental graphics are also lacking.. but I expect the storyline to be amazing.

Just saw it and what the hell... the Characters look "Okay" but the areas looks crap...

And to be honest i like the art-style now, it doesn't look great per se but its pretty, Snow can almost pass for a pretty boy sort of and his wife is a freaking hoty! to be honest she looks about my age (18-19 ish) so i dont see whats wrong.

First of all, what is with that condescending tone?  Secondly, what is the definition of setting?  I'm sure you'll find that "Place" is apart of it.

Now that I've gotten that out of the way, in no way do I see them as being additional characters just for "the hell of it."  Especially after the latest trailer, where Sazh and Hope were getting solo play time and major story sequences seemed to surround them.  Going from your statement, I take it you jumped the gun?

The graphics have definitely been brought down from what the original gameplay trailers were showing. It doesn't matter why, its just a fact. Other than that, it looks good. Not sure how I'm going to handle a female cid.
